A launch trailer for Blooming of Forget-Me-Not was also posted to the Bandai Namco YouTube channel, highlighting the new story quests players can expect. The DLC will pick up where the game’s story left off and will follow Kirito and Eugeo on a series of new quests in the “Underworld.”

On top of new story quests, the expansion will include new maps and dungeons, new divine beasts, new weapons and outfits, and additional character avatars. To play the new content, completing the main story is required. It is also recommended that players reach level 70 or above before beginning the expansion.

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris sees players take on the role of Kirito as he journeys into the mysterious “Underworld.” The events of the game loosely adapt the Human Realm portion of the Alicization arc.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and the Blooming of Forget-me-not DLC expansion is currently available to purchase for $24.99 on all applicable storefronts.
