Saya no Uta Performance Announced

For the first time, Gen Urobuchi will team up with Kenichi Suemitsu to bring Saya no Uta as a readers theater performance. You’ll be able to catch it between June 4 and 14, 2026 at the Sogetsu Hall in Akasaka, Tokyo. [Thanks, PR Times!]

Gen Urobuchi is a writer whose notable works include Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, and Psycho-Pass. He also wrote Saya no Uta in 2003, and it’s a horror eroge visual novel that’s become well known for its themes, quality, and graphic content. Kenichi Suemitsu is a playwright and scriptwriter who worked on the Stage: Touken Ranbu and TRUMP series stage plays.

The cast for the performance is full of popular young actors and actresses. Here is the cast for the Saya no Uta readers theater performance:

  • Fuminori Sakisaka: Mizuki Umetsu, Ranju Aoi, Ryuji Sato, Yoshihiko Aramaki, Yu Fukuzawa, Yuga Iwasaki
  • Koji Tonoh: Gaku Matsuda
  • Omi Takahata: Asa Natsukawa
  • Ryoko Tanbo: Shu Shiotsuki
  • Saya: Akana Ikeda, Ayu Okuma

For Fuminori and Saya, the cast is listed in alphabetical order, not the order they will appear on stage. If there’s a particular Fuminori or Saya you want to see, you can check out the schedule via the official website. Tickets will cost 10,500 JPY ($67.80). Advance sales are between February 9 and 17, 2026. If you miss that window, you can get the tickets starting from March 14, 2026.

The Saya no Uta readers theater show will appear at Sogetsu Hall in early June 2026.
