Sagittarius A Star is a vertical shoot ’em up, but you don’t have to use your dual guns. Your ship is also equipped with a weapon that cuts right through enemies if you can slice their weak point. The mechanic reminds me of Karous mixed with Raiden’s Zandatsu moves from Metal Gear Rising. Looks neat, but right now Sagittarius A Star has only been announced for Japan. It comes out as a DSiWare/3DS compatible release on April 16.

Luk Plus is also bringing one of their niche Nintendo DS games onto DSiWare. Coropata, a cute puzzle game that feels like a mix of the Incredible Machine and Yumi’s Odd Odyssey, will come out on April 16 too. Each game will cost 1,000 yen.
