Namco Bandai is giving Summon Night 3 and Summon Night 4 a full makeover for PSP with new anime openings.
Summon Night 3’s new opening video from Studio 4C.
The game also has new illustrations for event scenes.
Summon Night 4’s opening movie from Production I.G.
Summon Night 4 also has new event illustrations.
Felistella, a studio formed by ex-Flight Plan employees, also added a gallery with illustrations and ending scenes.
Players can also chose to play Summon Night 3 and Summon Night 4 with in easy mode and experience the same story. A fortune teller tells you how compatible you are with each character, which should make it easier to earn a specific ending.
Summon Night 3 also has new special attacks and a brave medal system where you can unlock medals by completing battles under set conditions.
A new puppet system allows players to add guest characters and enemies into their team to make a dream party. These guest characters will have unique battle conversations too. You can also team up with other allies to use a Summon Assist, a skill that lets you summon stronger monsters.
Felistella is also developing Summon Night 5. We haven’t heard too much about the game, but here’s what the hero and heroine from Summon Night 5 wears. Launch copies of Summon Night 3 include a code for an extra costume based on the Summon Night 5 lead characters.
