Valkyria Chronicles is going strong with a new add-on episode, a year after its original launch in Japan. Edy’s Squad Challenge isn’t a another side story, it’s a series of Valkyria Chronicles tests. The mission pack storms on to PlayStation Network next week.

Good to see Sega continuing Valkyria Chronicles this far into its life. Not many games in Japan are extended with DLC this far in. I hope this is a sign that Sega has bigger plans for Valkyria Chronicles beyond the anime. A portable version would be fantastic. The thought of Valkyria Chronicles on the PSP got a good reception too after a trailer mistake last E3.
