SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays Lets You Make Custom Characters Without The Annoying Eye Shadow

Recommended Videos

Last week, it was revealed by Bandai Namco that the Custom Character and Custom BGM features will be returning in SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays (only on PlayStation 4 and PC for the latter feature), and it turns out that this time, players can choose whether they want their eyes to be veiled in shadow. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

Custom Characters

Players are able to make their own custom characters, including their names, appearance (choosing from several preset looks), and can even create their own profile. These characters can be used on teams alongside legendary characters across the four worlds.

One of the important choices to make are the characters’ birthdays and blood types. These affect what skills determine what skills the characters will have.

There are various preset looks for both genders to choose from, and outfits encompassing different pilot suits and roles from across the four worlds. Your character will also appear in cut-ins just like every other pilot. New to this game is the option to turn off the shadow that obscures your characters eyes like in other games. Here’s what the characters look like with the shadow enabled:
