Among NIS America’s many announcements at its 2016 press event was the reveal that Yomawari: Night Alone will be released in both North America and Europe. The PlayStation Vita horror and exploration game was released in Japan in October 2015. Both an official website and launch trailer are available online.

Yomawari: Night Alone begins with an innocent walk at night. A young girl and her dog, Poro get involved in an accident, and the girl returns home without her pet. Her sister goes out to find the dog, but never returns. Players then follow the girl as she heads out into the night, which is suddenly dark and filled with menacing spirits, as she goes to find both her sister and her dog. She can’t fight the monsters around her, but players can use their brains and skills to help her avoid the creatures or trick them.
