Season 2 of Witch Hat Atelier Will Be Streaming on Crunchyroll

The Witch Hat Atelier Committee confirmed we will see a season 2 of the anime adaptation of the Kodansha manga and Crunchyroll will remain the streaming home of it. It is currently in development. The first season is already streaming there and can be purchased digitally on Amazon, while Kodansha handles the ongoing manga worldwide.

There are no details about which arcs and manga chapters season 2 of the Witch Hat Atelier anime will cover. The first season lasted for 13 episodes. It covered from the start of the series up through part of the Second Pentagram Test arc. It ended on a cliffhanger, not showing what happened during that part of the story and test.

As for the manga for Witch Hat Atelier, Kodansha is still getting us caught up worldwide. The most recent English release was volume 14. which debuted on March 2026. That showed up in Japan in April 2025 and covers up chapters 76-81. In Japan, volume 16 debuted back at the end of April 2026. 

Season 2 of the Witch Hat Atelier anime is in development, and will be streaming on Crunchyroll alongside the first one. The manga is handled by Kodansha.
