HoYoVerse shared details about the two new playable characters who will show up on the first Zenless Zone Zero Season 3 banners, and they are Norma Hollowell and Velina Airgid. Both work at the Roscaelifer External Strategy Department, which is a new faction being added in 3.0. While HoYoVerse didn’t confirm it, it also seems like the might both be S-rank Agents.
The two characters both work in different roles in External Strategy Department. Velina is the higher-ranking of the two, as she’s the administrative director. Meanwhile, as indicated by her familiar-looking hat, Norma builds Bangboo. The initial imagery for Norma confirms she’ll deal fire damage when she attacks and fills a Stun role in a party. Meanwhile, Velina will be our first wind-type character and will be an Anomaly-type unit.

The Norma and Velina reveals marked three confirmed playable characters for Season 3 of Zenless Zone Zero. The first was Pyrois. This will be the playable Proxy avatar for the Phaethon faction, and it seems like this Etheric Other entity will fight alongside Belle or Wise in battles.
Zenless Zone Zero is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices, the Steam version is on the way, and the 2.8 update arrives on May 6, 2026.
