Second Shiren DS game gets a date

Wanderers pack your riceballs and get ready to set out on November 13. That’s when Sega will release Mystery Dungeon Shiren the Wanderer: Demon Castle in the Desert in Japan. The “sequel” isn’t a direct follow up and this isn’t a remake of the Nintendo 64 game. Fushigi no Dungeon Fuurai no Shiren DS 2: Sabaku no Majou is based on a Game Boy Shiren game. No other new information has been disclosed, but Shiren DS 2 is on track to make its winter release target.

Sega of America has not announced if they will pick this game up or the Wii game at this time. However, Tokyo Game Show is coming up and that was the place Sega officially announced Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer for North America. Keep your fingers crossed.
