Secret Of Mana’s Heroes Show Up In Vita’s Rise Of Mana As Guest Bosses

Rise of Mana is the Mana series return to the classic hack and slash style fondly remembered in Secret of Mana. A special quest live now in Japan for the PlayStation Vita version has Randi (boy), Primm (girl), and Popoi (sprite) appear together as bosses. If you can beat the legendary Secret of Mana trio you’ll earn the Defender sword as a reward.

Randi, Primm, and Popoi also appear as SR rank pets in the game’s magic stone shop. You can use mana fragments here to get pet characters through a gatcha-like system and if you’re lucky you can reunite the Secret of Mana heroes on your team.

This Rise of Mana quest will be available until July 22 in Japan.
