See Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Story and Systems Trailers

Bandai Namco shared new story and systems trailers for Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections, showcasing the original Special Story Mode as well as new systems and mechanics being added to the game. The new entry in the series will feature 10 new playable characters, a new simple control style, and other new gameplay additions. A History and Special Story Modes will be available as well.

The new Systems trailer highlights some of the new additions and returning mechanics that the game will include. One of these additions involves each character being able to use two Ninjutsu abilities in combat, instead of a single ability. The new simple control style allows players to chain combos easily by pressing a single attack button.

Additionally, the Special Story Mode features a new original story with Boruto as its protagonist. Two original characters will be central to the story, in which a former follower of Pain threatens the ninja world with the objective of completing the plans of his former leader. The new Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Special Story Mode trailer shows a sneak peek of the beginning of the story, which features a fight between Sasuke and Naruto.

Furthermore, the game will also include a History Mode. This mode will be a retelling of the events of the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden anime and manga series. This mode will include highlights from the anime, and fixed battle challenges from the series’ past.

Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC on November 17, 2023.
