It’s time to really see what Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid’s Scorpina can do. Ahead of her debut on December 8, 2020, nWay released a trailer showing off her moveset in a fight. While her initial teaser was quite brief and basically only gave us an idea of what her character model will look like in-game, this segment offers a far more extensive look at her moveset.
Here’s the Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid Scorpina trailer. It shows a number of poisonous-looking attacks, which would be fitting for a scorpion. We also see how she uses her blade to strike, combos you can trigger, and teleportation. We see her unleash a Circuit Breaker move at the very end of the video.
The Scorpina DLC is only one of three characters available in this Season 3 Pass. Previously, Power Rangers Jungle Fury’s Robert “RJ” James and Power Ragers: Super Samurai’s Lauren Shiba each appeared as playable characters. A fourth season pass hasn’t been announced yet, but nWay did ask about potential characters like the Street Fighter Power Rangers on Twitter.
Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia, and the Scorpina DLC will arrive on December 8, 2020.
