Neko Works has released the first teaser for its upcoming 3D turn-based Japanese-style RPG codenamed “Project Light.” The video shows off the game’s anime-style characters in motion for the first time. It also lets you hear some music from the game for the first time.

In the video, you’ll see the main character Haru with his blond ponytail and blue coat. Next to him is Kuroko in her black garments and with her black hair as stand on the edge of a dark industrial cyberpunk city. In the snowy scene after that, you can see “Mysterious Girl” with her white hair and red clothes sat atop a set of stairs as she’s approached by Haru.

Previously, Neko Works spoke with Siliconera about Project Light, explaining the inspirations behind it and how it would play. Also shared in that interview were a number of concept arts for the character designs so you can compare those with how they look in-game.

Project Light is set in an underground cyberpunk world ruled by a fierce empire. You play as Haru as he dreams of green plains and blue skies, and he hopes to find it after he annoys the soldiers of the underground society he lives in, and embarks on a journey to discover the mysteries of his world. It should be coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Wii U later this year. Other platforms will get it afterwards and should include PlayStation Vita, Ouya, as well as iOS and Android.
