Rugby Sevens is the Nintendo Wii U version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games’ exclusive event. It also happens to be returning to the real Olympics this year for the first time since 1924. To help people understand what the event looks like and how it’s played, Daan Koopman has put together a Rugby Sevens gameplay video.

In NintendDaan’s Rugby Sevens match, we see Mario, Diddy Kong, Wario, Daisy, and their generic Boom Boom teammates compete against Metal Sonic, Luigi, Dr. Eggman, Tails, and some Egg Pawns. The almost three minute video lets you see the first half of a match. This is one of eight Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games gameplay videos prepared by Koopman so far.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will come to the Nintendo Wii U on June 24, 2016. It is immediately available for the Nintendo 3DS.
