the princess guide praise scold

In The Princess Guide, players won’t just be helping one of four princesses save the Relic Islands. They will also be also be training the characters. This will mean acquiring and applying Knowledge Materia to a heroine to help make her a better fighter and ruler. It also means making use of the Praise and Scold mechanic when you see certain behaviors. A new trailer goes over this, showing how characters react to positive and negative reinforcement.

This The Princess Guide trailer begins with a quick peek at the Guidance Menu, where players can visit to Teach Materia to a student, look at the Materia List, have her take part in Virtual Training, and check a Diary. You can also see a character’s stats here, to see their current Strength, Wisdom, Spirit, Moral, and Faith levels. It then looks at some of the Teach Materia options, with the Warrior Princess’s Wish, Warrior’s Insight, Commander’s Courage, Thrust Technique, Perseverance of Will, and Relic Master options available in the video. After that, we see how we can praise or scold the princess during training or a battle. This will help influence their development and, as shown in the video, it seems like different missions may open up as a result.
