See the Mai Shiranui KOF Pop Up Parade Figure

WonFes 2023 Shangai is on, and that means we got a first look at the Mai Shiranui Pop Up Parade figure based on her The King of Fighters ’97 appearance. Good Smile Company shared a photo of an unpainted prototype of her. It is still in-progress and may change, but offers an indication of what to expect.

Here’s the official announcement that showed how Mai might end up looking. She’ll be wearing her standard costume, while also wielding her Kacho Sen fan.

This isn’t Good Smile Company’s first figure based on the character, as it also released a Mai Shiranui Nendoroid. That showed up in 2017 though, and it never ended up being rerun. It also made a 1/8 scale figure of her.

The figure manufacturer has been releasing quite a few fighting game Pop Up Parade figures as of late, however. In 2022, it showed off Chun-Li and Cammy ones. Those released in 2023.

The King of Fighters 97 Mai Shiranui Pop Up Parade figure is in development. The last entry in the series is KOF XV for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
