Bandai Namco already teased some of the Digimon Story: Time Stranger story, but a new trailer looks even closer at what to expect from the game as our characters are sent back in time and on trips into the Digital World of Iliad. This latest video focuses more on our mission once we really get going on our journey. Primarily, one issue here involved Titans keeping gates from being opened in Iliad.

When we start the story in Digimon Story Time Stranger, we decide if Dan Yuki or Kanan Yuki will be our avatar for the adventure. Both of them work with the Special Investigation Bureau ADAMAS. Their goal is to investigate anomalies and, after encountering one, are sent back in time eight years. This mean not only going through  Shinjuku and Akihabara, but Digimon towns in the Digital World Iliad. This new trailer shows one of them alongside Inori Misono and Aegiomon as they meet with Olympos XII member Junomon. She explains that the Titans are keeping her from opening the gate between worlds. That it will be up to us and Aegiomon’s power to set things right.

From there, we see our avatar on that journey with Inori and Aegiomon. They explore Iliad and meet with other Olympos XII members like Merukimon. As we see more exploration footage and combat segments, we also learn that our allies could be closely tied to what happened. ADAMAS suggests that both Inori and Aegiomon, and their potential, mean they are Class A Anomalies.
