See The Zelda Homage In Super Mario 3D Land

imageIn a press only presentation, Shigeru Miyamoto revealed Super Mario 3D Land has a homage to The Legend of Zelda series. Nintendo showed a short video of Mario jumping through a top down stage. Now, you can see the whole level since Super Mario 3D Land is out in Japan.

Mario doesn’t get a sword, but he can fight kind of like Link by equipping the Boomerang Bros. suit. Super Mario 3D Land comes out next week in North America.
