God Eater 3 is making quite a few changes to the formula. While some of this involves Ash Aragami or the sorts of weapons people can use, the multiplayer is being adjusted too. Most notably, people can participate in fights with four other players or, for the first time, go into Assault Mission matches with eight other characters. To help people better visualize all of this, a new multiplayer trailer has been released.

This God Eater 3 trailer begins with a look at the more traditional gameplay. We’ll see characters participating in missions with four players involved. Then, it looks at the Assault Mission with eight players. (Also, as a reminder, the game will use NPCs if eight people can’t be found for this sort of match.)

Here’s the new God Eater 3 multiplayer trailer:

God Eater 3 is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 in Japan. It will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC in other regions on February 8, 2019.
