Sega’s Ghost Squad, Wii Zapper versus the remote only

Out in Sega’s booth is a working version of Ghost Squad with the new Wii Zapper casing. Ghost Squad for the Wii, is like the arcade game. You shoot terrorists, save civilians, and diffuse bombs by cutting colored wires in the right order. The Zapper shell looks similar to the actual Ghost Squad gun, except much smaller. When you use the Zapper you press the Z button on the nunchuck to fire and you use both hands to stabilize your shot. Alternatively you can use the standalone remote and fire with the B button.

Ghost Squad is a game you are going to want to play with the Wii Zapper. While you don’t need to the nunchuck to move around like in Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles the shell makes it much easier to aim. I found when I was playing with the remote alone I had to use my left hand to hold my right hand and steady my shot. During sniper sections you can only shoot one shot at a time and the Wii Zapper shell gives you an edge here.
