Sega Ages Wonder Boy: Monster Land And Virtua Racing Will Appear Outside Of Japan On June 27, 2019

Sega has revealed western release dates for the next two Sega Ages entries. Sega Ages Wonder Boy: Monster Land and Sega Ages: Virtua Racing will arrive on the Nintendo eShop outside of Japan on June 27, 2019. This release date applies to both the North American and European versions of the game.

 

Sega Ages Virtua Racing gives people a chance to play the Formula One racing game again. It originally appeared in arcades in 1992 and on the Sega Genesis and Sega 32X in 1994. It also appeared on the Sega Saturn in 1995. This version has online multiplayer for two people and offline eight-player multiplayer. You can also download the replay data for each track’s and type’s top 50 players. You can learn more about it from our playtest.

 

Sega Ages Wonder Boy: Monster Land is the new way to play Wonder Boy in Monster Land, which originally appeared in arcades and on the Sega Master System, NES, and TurboGrafx-16. This version of the game will include a joystick waggle button, to make getting hidden money easier, and a Money Hungry Mode that keeps you from getting extra cash from secret spots.

Sega Ages Virtua Racing and Sega Ages Wonder Boy: Monster Land are both immediately available on the Nintendo Switch in Japan. They will be released outside Japan on June 27, 2019.
