Sega Akihabara Building 3’s Retro Game Floor Reopens This Week

Sega Akihabara Building 3 Retro Game Floor

Sega announced that it will reopen the Retro Game Floor at its Akihabara Building 3 arcade in Tokyo. The retro-themed floor will feature an expanded lineup of arcade games for visitors to check out when it reopens on January 14, 2021. [Thanks, Game Watch.]

The Retro Game Floor was initially located at Sega Akihabara Building 5, Sega’s fifth Akiba arcade shop that opened in July 2019. However, Sega relocated the Retro Game Floor from Building 5 to the sixth floor of Sega Akihabara Building 3. The reopened game floor will include popular arcade games such as House of the Dead and Cyber Troopers Virtual-On. It will even have the 2006 arcade game Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna with the “Panoramic Optical Display” cabinet.
