This year, Sega has 15 SKUs for Xbox 360 and expects to sell 2.66 million video games on Microsoft’s platform. Unless you count digital downloads like After Burner Climax, Sega has not announced any Xbox 360 exclusives yet. Key releases such as Iron Man 2 and Vanquish, both of which are mentioned in the presentation, are multiplatform games. Well, there’s this teaser that has 360 in the URL, but we don’t know what that is for yet. Perhaps, Sega is working on some games for Project Natal?
Sega is also investing a bundle into PSP development. 14 SKUs are planned compared to 8 from last year. Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd, Black Panther, Iron Man 2 and the domestic release of Valkyria Chronicles 2 are the only confirmed PSP games from Sega thus far.
Here’s another interesting tidbit. Sega expects to sell 7.28 million games in Europe and that number is higher than any other region. 6.29 million and 3.38 million units of sales are planned for North America and Japan, respectively.
