Bayonetta is officially out in Japan now and if you’re dying for climax action you can import the PlayStation 3 version. I did and discovered the Japanese version in English.
If you can wait until January 5 you can get Bayonetta and an exclusive pre-order item. Bayonetta will go on sale in Europe a few days later on January 8.
But, the game is already localized so why is there any wait?
Mike Hayes, CEO of Sega America & Europe, offers an explanation, “We chose a January ship date for Bayonetta as we firmly believe that it is the best time for Sega and our retail partners to launch this exciting new IP in the West, and push for a number #1 retail slot. Bayonetta is a huge title for us and the perfect start for the New Year, both for Sega and gamers across the West.”
