Sega Europe Is Teasing A July 13, 2018 Shenmue I & II HD Announcement

Sega posted a cryptic message on the Sega Europe Twitter account today. It said, “Tomorrow… we go back…” along with an image that said Yokosuka and 11am April 13, 2018. This is notable, as Yokosuka is Ryo’s hometown in the Shenmue series and the date noted in the image calls back to the Shenmue I & II HD announcement made on April 13, 2018.

No other clues were offered to suggest what Sega could have in store for Shenmue I & II HD. The only other things that happened around April 13, 2018 was Sega Fes 2018, which was held April 14-15, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan.

Shenmue I & II HD will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 21, 2018.
