Virtual dogs? Old news. Cat simulation games are the new black, even though Nintendo still hasn’t gotten around to making Nintencats. In the meantime Sega is filling the void with Yume Neko DS. With the stylus players can pet the fake feline and play with it by dragging a toy mouse on the screen.
Japan gets a chance to try Yume Neko DS in spring ’08. At this time a US release has not been announced, but since Sega is localizing Touch de Zuno, Yume Neko DS is fair game.
