Just because Sega is developing software like Project Beauty doesn’t mean they forgot about core genres like RPGs. In their Fiscal Year 2009 1st Quarter Financial statement Sega stated they want to expand RPG title sales for domestic market. By domestic they mean Japan so this isn’t a confirmation of World Destruction. However, if Sega plans to back Phantasy Star Portable and the mixed media franchise World Destruction with a big marketing budget they see these games as key releases. I take this news as a positive sign these games will be released internationally too.
