Sega Saturn Ports Aren’t Out Of The Question

Sega’s back catalog of Genesis, Dreamcast, and even Master System games will be sold as digital downloads for current consoles. What about the Saturn?

“When it comes to the whole world, Genesis and Dreamcast are famous, Saturn is unknown,” Yosuke Okunari said to Impress Watch. Earlier, Okunari pointed out downloadable games are more popular overseas than Japan.

 

That doesn’t mean Sega is ignoring the Saturn. They published a handful of Saturn ports with extras on the PlayStation 2 under the Sega Ages label. “In addition, we are thinking about ports of Saturn titles. It’s the same as how Sega Ages and Virtual Console were existed separately. It’s not that we have no plans of Saturn ports, please share your requests,” Okunari added.
