Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Being Turned Into an Anime

Crunchyroll announced at gamescom Opening Night Live 2025 that an anime adaptation of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is in development. It is called Sekiro: No Defeat. We’ll see it streaming on the service in 2026. While voice actors haven’t been shared yet, we do know other staff members working on it thanks to the company’s reveal

Here’s the first trailer. It begins with Sekiro protecting his charge, Kuro. We see Genichiro find the two and attack, kidnapping the boy. From there, we see him head on his mission to find his master and defeat Genichiro.
