The Earth has been long uninhabitable in the world of fighter/shooter Senko no Ronde 2, but the power struggles between regimes still continue even in the void of space. Senko no Ronde 2 offers a newly translated version of Senko no Ronde DUO’s story, complete with new HD visuals and a sharpened narrative. This story will deal with the political balance of the universe, as well as some of the interrelations of the game’s many playable pilots.

Not that players need to be interested in the game’s story to play it. Senko no Ronde 2 features multiple different modes for its one-on-one shooter/fighting play, with players able to strike or blast each other in Arcade Mode against the computer, Practice mode to test out their abilities, Score Attack to see how many points they can rack up, or Online/Offline Mode to battle human opponents in their house or across the internet.

Senko no Ronde 2 will have players controlling a pair of pilots as they move across large arenas, exchanging bullet hell-like sprays of gunfire and more close-range melee attacks, striking up a balance between the two to find gaps in their opponent’s strategy and attacks.

Senko no Ronde 2 is available now on Steam and PS4.
