Senran Kagura series producer Kenichiro Takaki appeared at the Taiwan Game Show this past weekend, showing off the upcoming Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal. [Thanks, Bahamut]

Takaki first took the stage to show off the game’s latest playable version. He shouted to the crowd, “Do you love boobs?” and the crowd replied, “We love boobs!”, followed by repeated cheerings of “Boobs!”. Afterwards, Takaki announced a May 17, 2018 release date for the Chinese version of Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal, alongside a Collector’s Edition.

The game will start off with 12 characters playable, with 13 DLC characters. Most of the DLC characters have been announced already, but Takaki further answered that the reason these characters were DLC was because they originally were not in the 3DS game, and that they don’t have a role in the main story. After the game’s release, the DLC characters will have their own story released that act as their ‘prequels’, showing off what they were doing at the time.

Finally, as a message to Taiwanese fans, he answered, “Our goal is to have every future Senran Kagura game localized into Chinese, and as close to the Japanese release as possible!”

Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal releases in Japan on February 22, 2018 for PlayStation 4, and in Taiwan on May 17,2018.
