Sensible World of Soccer revived and infused with ads

I’m honestly not familiar with Sensible World of Soccer, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t chock full of ads for GamesRadar and CVG when it came out in the ‘90s. The Future Publishing sponsored (seriously, is it?) update also includes online play, updated graphics and the ability to customize teams for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

A graphically enhanced version of Tempest also comes out this week with a new Throttle Monkey mode. It’s only 400 Microsoft Points ($5), which seems like a fair price for some arcade style shooting action. Out of the two, Tempest sounds more interesting only because I have memories playing Tempest and later Tempest 2000. But don’t let my bias distract you from Sensible World of Soccer, it is considered one of the ten most important video games of all time.
