Sensible World of Soccer yanked from the Xbox Marketplace

Early this week, Microsoft announced two retro updates on Xbox Live Arcade, Tempest and Sensible World of Soccer. The latter is infected with ads and an unfortunate bug that affects online play. After being online for a few hours Microsoft removed the game from Xbox Live to fix the problem. If you already downloaded the game you will be able to get the patched game for no additional cost whenever it comes out.

What they aren't fixing are the ads and possible IP address mining by Massive, an in-game advertising firm. For such a revered game, Sensible World of Soccer is having, at best, a rocky start.
