Shadow Stars in Sonic Racing Crossroads Teaser

During the Game Awards 2024, a trailer for Sonic Racing Crossroads appeared, though there aren’t a lot of details about it yet. The trailer is more akin to a teaser, though we know what platforms it’ll come out on.

Here is the trailer for Sonic Racing Crossroads:

The trailer does not feature any in-game gameplay. It shows Shadow getting into a black-and-red race car before speeding off. Then, the logo appears.

While we didn’t get to see any actual gameplay, it’ll likely be similar to previous racing games in the Sonic franchise. Some other games include Team Sonic Racing and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed. All of these games not only featured letting you participate in car races as different characters from the Sonic franchise, but also included lots of obstacles and maps to spice up the competition. More information in the future will tell us what will differentiate Sonic Racing Crossroads from other Sonic racing games.

Sonic Racing Crossroads will come out for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC. We don’t know when we’ll get to see more about the game and learn about the types of vehicles and tracks we’ll get to race on this time around.
