By All of the characters in Blue Dragon have a shadowy avatar that helps out during combat. The main character, Shu, has the Blue Dragon which represents the fire inside his heart. Early on the dragon shadow can spew fire from his mouth, but it (and all of the other shadows) can be customized. Jiro’s shadow is the legendary Minotaur, which represents his intelligence. Four of the five main characters have their shadows released and you can see pictures of them below.
