Shenmue 101 Video Series Looks At Shenmue I & II’s Fights, QTEs, and Arcade

A new Shenmue I & II video has been released to help people catch up with the series ahead of the HD collection’s August 2018 debut in North America and Europe. This time, the focus is on some gameplay elements. A two minute trailer looks at the combat system, the quick time events, and the additional, optional activities.

As usual with this video series, Ryo English voice actor Corey Marshall acts as the narrator. The first portion of the video shows Ryo fighting against friends and foes using jiu-jitsu. It then moves on to talk about its QTEs, before going over minigames, like slot machines, pool, Hang-On, and Space Harrier.

In case you missed it, the first video looking at Shenmue I & II’s finer details focused on the story, while the second went over its characters.

Shenmue I & II will arrive on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 21, 2018 in North America and Europe. It will arrive in Japan on November 22, 2018.
