Ever since Nintendo first mentioned their upcoming NX console last year we haven’t heard much about it at all, but Shigeru Miyamoto shared an explanation in an interview with Associated Press. Here’s what he said about the NX in the interview:

“In terms of NX, there’s an idea that we’re working on. That’s why we can’t share anything at this point, and I don’t want to comment on the other companies. If it was just a matter of following advancements in technology, things would be coming out a lot quicker.”
We can expect to learn more about the Nintendo NX sometime this year.
