The Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are getting a new shoot’em up. Shikhondo – Soul Eater will be coming to all three systems in Summer 2018. Digerati is bringing DeerFarm’s game to the consoles.

In addition, a Japanese and Asian Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 release has been announced. There, it will get digital and physical releases, with the limited physical release coming from eastasiasoft and appearing at Play-Asia. The PlayStation 4 digital version will appear in those regions on June 22, 2018, while the Nintendo Switch version does not yet have a release window. The physical limited editions’ product listings will appear at Play-Asia on June 28, 2018.

In Shikhondo – Soul Eater, players chase after yokai that are escaping from limbo. It is up to them to defeat each one, in order to save the souls they have stolen and reseal them and their evil. Arcade, Boss Rush and Hardcore modes are returning from the original PC version. The console versions will be unique, as they will add local cooperative multiplayer so two people can shoot down yokai together.
