Shin Megami Tensei IV’s New DLC Features Divine And Chaotic Beasts

Recommended Videos

Previously, Atlus have released DLC missions to make it easier to level up for people who don’t have as much time to play. That was followed by another DLC mission that involved fighting powerful archangels. Next, Atlus will be releasing two more downloadable content missions that will have you fighting even tougher fiends.

The fifth DLC, titled “Ancient of Days”, will have players fighting against the demon known as the diving spirit, Ancient Day, designed by Kamen Rider and Sentai designer Tamotsu Shinohara. Defeating this demon, who is considered to be the caretaker of God, will allow you to fuse the demons to create it yourself. Without doing so, you won’t be able to create it even if you have the necessary monsters to make it.

Meanwhile, the sixth DLC quest is called “The Eternal Youth,” where you’ll be encountering the Chaos King Sanato, who is said to have come from a world of explosive flames and violence. It’ll be up to you to stop Sanato who’s been trampling the grounds of the Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ikebukuro districts of Tokyo. This demon was also designed by Tamotsu Shinohara, and defeating him will allow you to fuse monsters to create him, as well.

“Ancient of Days” will be available to download on Nintendo eShop starting on June 27th while “The Eternal Youth” will be out on July 4th.

Shin Megami Tensei IV is slated to be released on July 16th for Nintendo 3DS in North America.
