Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate Lets You Rely On Others For Entertainment

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Aksys goes over some of Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate’s more social features. In addition to the solo adventure, people can join up with other players for multiplayer engagements or turn to Aksys for passwords.

There are two forms of multiplayer in Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate: cooperative and versus. In the co-op mode, two people go into dungeons together and try to reach and beat the boss. You only succeed if both people make it completely through the dungeon. In the versus mode, two players are put in an enclosed space together and must use their attacks and inventory items in an attempt to be the last Shiren standing.

People can also share passwords with the Tanuki at Hotel Nekomaneki. Aksys hasn’t said what they’ll do, but has provided the first password. It’s “Nonary Game.” The other 32 will be provided over time.
