Shock Troopers, the Neo Geo MVS top-down shooter from 1997, has found a new home on Steam, letting PC players blast their way to the kidnapped Dr. George and his granddaughter.
Players can choose to go it alone against the terrorist group Bloody Scorpions, choosing from one of the eight playable characters, or form a team using three of them. They can also enlist the help of an online friend for the game’s co-op mode, doubling their on-screen firepower.
Especially high scores might make it into the game’s leaderboards as well, letting players compete against other owners of the game.
