Where to Find Araj Oblodra in BG3

You can first find Araj Oblodra pretty easily in the Moonrise Towers during Act 2 of the game. It is here you first learn about her desire to get a vial of your blood. While it is quite simple to find her in Act 2, it is a bit harder to locate her during Act 3 in the city of Baldur’s Gate.

To locate Araj, head to the Lower City in Act 3. You’ll find her in this district at her very own shop known as the Crimson Draughts. This store is just east of The Blushing Mermaid tavern. Note that you are only able to find her here if you gave her at least one portion of your blood in Act 2.

What Happens If You Give Your Blood to Araj Oblodra in BG3

The crux of Araj Oblodra’s role in BG3 has to do with her desire to obtain your blood. As for what happens if you do so, she will give you an elixir, depending on your race. For Dragonborn, it is also dependent on your sub-race. For instance, the elves and Drow receive the Elixir of Elven Elegance. It boosts movement range, grants Darkvision, and makes you immune to charm.

Note that after using it up, you will get some negative effects until you long rest again, plus a tiny bit of instant damage. In Act 3, she will also give you Sanguine Explosives for Blood. If you can get around the negative effects, these elixirs are absolutely worth it, in addition to letting Astarion bite her. Here are all of the elixirs for reach race and sub-race:

  • Elf and Drow: Elixir of Elven Elegance
  • Dwarf: Elixir of Dwarven Resilience
  • Githyanki: Elixir of Githyanki Providence
  • Gnome: Elixir of Gnomish Ingenuity
  • Half-Elf: Elixir of Half-Elven Healing
  • Half-Orc: Elixir of Half-Orcish Fury
  • Haling: Elixir of Halfling Luck
  • Human: Elixir of Human Versatility
  • Tiefling: Elixir of Tiefling Vice
  • Black and Copper Dragonborn: Elixir of Dragonborn Prowess: Acid
  • Blue and Bronze Dragonborn: Elixir of Lightning
  • Brass and Gold Dragonborn: Elixir of Fire
  • Green Dragonborn: Elixir of Poison
  • Silver and White Dragonborn: Elixir of Frost

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available right now for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
