But should you use up your precious crystals for these new weapons and gear?
Are the summer Cloud and Aerith items worth pulling for in FFVII Ever Crisis?
With the obligatory warning to be careful when gambling out of the way, yes, the summer event items for both Cloud and Aerith are more than worth it. After all, this gacha-centric mobile game constantly adds new items that increase the necessity for more powerful items. And it just so happens the two new five-star summer weapons for Cloud and Aerith are among the most powerful.
- 5-star Maritime Sword for Cloud: 1% chance in draws or available through the stamp card
- 5-star Sun Umbrella for Aerith: 1% chance in draws or available through the stamp card
Maritime Sword is far better than most weapons you’ll find for Cloud at this time in FFVII Ever Crisis. Prior to this summer beach event, Murasame was arguably Cloud’s best weapon, and I would put it even with the Maritime Sword. Murasame focuses more on physical attack power, while the Maritime Sword focuses on magical power. I suggest equipping Cloud with both for the most powerful build possible.
It’s a similar situation with Aerith and the Sun Umbrella. This staff matches her other best weapons, making it a must-have for players who want the most power. Better yet, the ability it comes with, Nightbloom, weakens enemies’ defense, which makes some of the hardest boss battles a bit easier to handle.
Overall, if you want to keep up with the ongoing meta in FFVII Ever Crisis and have the easiest possible time with the content, both of these weapons are worth picking up.
