Should You Skip the Tutorial in FF7 Ever Crisis

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis arrived! With it comes a re-telling of the events of Final Fantasy VII, and other spin-offs in the Final Fantasy VII universe. But before the game will immediately let you jump in, you’ll need to watch some cinematics and of course go through a tutorial. Like all mobile games, FFV7 Ever Crisis does feature a tutorial you can skip. But the question is, should you? And if you do, will you be missing out on any exclusive rewards?

Should You Skip the Tutorial in FFV7 Ever Crisis

The answer to whether or not you should skip the tutorial is… that it is entirely up to you! Regardless of whether you complete the FFVII Ever Crisis tutorial, its rewards will be sent to your in-game inbox. This means that you will receive them whether or not you play it. That said, if you have not experienced the narrative of Final Fantasy VII, playing through the tutorial is recommended since it covers the opening segment of the game.

That said, if you’re just looking to re-roll for a chance at better weapons, you’ll want to consider skipping the tutorial. It will only cost you time. Especially since re-rolling is a somewhat lengthy process, given that you cannot skip the opening cinematic of the game or the short tutorial fight against Sephiroth as Cloud and Zack.

If you do want to skip the tutorial, all you need to do is tap the little icon on the upper righthand corner of the screen. You will be given a prompt that will warn you about skipping the tutorial, but it will also reveal that you will still gain any rewards you may have earned by playing it.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is immediately available on Android and iOS.
