Shovel Knight’s Specter Of Torment Will Emerge In 2017

Yacht Club Games has provided a release window for Shovel Knight’s Specter of Torment campaign. The free expansion, which stars the Specter Knight, will launch in spring 2017. Players get to follow this haunting former opponent and use his slashes, dash slashes, and wall climbs to reach new heights.

 

Specter of Torment is the second of three free Shovel Knight expansions. The first was Plague of Shadows, starring the Plague Knight. The King Knight campaign will follow Specter of Torment. In each of these adventures, players get to go through an additional platforming experience as a former villain who plays differently than the familiar Shovel Knight.

 

Shovel Knight is available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, PC, Xbox One, and Amazon Fire TV. The Specter of Torment expansion will come to every platform.
