Silent Hill: Downpour Screens Trickle Out

Along with Silent Hill: Downpour’s release date (March 13), Konami sent a few screenshots of the horror game. Downpour takes place in the southeastern section of Silent Hill, a location not seen in previous games.

The story begins with Murphy Pendleton, a convicted felon, inside a prison transport bus on a rainy night. The bus crashes and Pendleton escapes and finds himself inside Silent Hill. Murphy will be able fight monsters in this game using firearms and breakable melee weapons. Just like Persona 4, trouble brews when it rains. Players will have to decide whether to hide or fight through danger when it pours.
