Sixaxis controlled skydiving lands in January

Sony’s Sixaxis controlled Go! Sports series didn’t start off with a bang, it started off with Go! Sports Ski. On January 10, 2008 Go! Sports Skydiving, the second title with Go! Sports branding arrives in Japan.

It also takes advantage of Sixaxis motion control, but instead of sliding on slopes players use motion control to guide a skydiver during freefall.  The goal is to make formations with up to four other players and do as many aerial tricks by steering with the Sixaxis controller before you pull the chute. Since there are few games about skydiving this caught my eye, but at 800 yen ($6.50) I’m on the fence about getting it or not. Perhaps, Sony Computer Entertainment America will release it as a budget game like they did with Go! Sports Ski in North America.
