Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3, a pirate-themed sequel to Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime for the Nintendo 3DS, has a similar gameplay system. You can defeat ships by firing items like rocks and treasure chests from cannons or you can "slime" the heart of the ship.

Square Enix will release Slime Mori Mori Dragon Quest 3: The Great Pirate Ship and Tails Troupe is slated for release later this year in Japan.
