Lots of games are making their return in SNK 40th Anniversary Collection, and one getting a little extra attention today is Crystalis. NIS America has released a trailer for this specific game and details about what people can expect from the return of this action-RPG.

Crystalis launched on the NES in both North America and Japan in 1990. The year is 2097, and the Draygonia Empire is combining magic and science. He wants to use them to open a Tower floating above the world and conquer everything. Our amnesiac protagonist works with an ally named Mesia and the sages Asina, Kensu, Tornel and Zebu. The goal is to take his Sword of Wind and combine it with the other three elemental swords to create Crystalis, the legendary sword, and defeat the emperor. A Game Boy Color port, with quite a few differences, was released in 2000.
